Simon Says, Show Me

Simon calls out an answer — students point to it, hold up that many fingers, or act it out, but only if Simon says so first.

Make it yours: "Simon says show me something [red]" or "Simon says hold up [4] fingers" — swap in colours, numbers, shapes, or anything students can point to or gesture.

How to play

1. Give an instruction that doubles as a content check — "Simon says point to something blue," "Simon says hold up two fingers."
2. Students follow it only if you say "Simon says" first — no prefix means anyone who moves is out.
3. Keep the pace brisk and mix in fakes once students get the hang of it.
