Gallery Walk

Small groups create a response to a prompt, post it up, then everyone walks the room reading everyone else's.

Make it yours: The prompts are entirely yours — an image, a quote, a problem, a diagram, a question — whatever fits the unit.

How to play

1. Split into small groups of four to six and give each group a different prompt, question, or image to respond to.
2. Groups discuss and write their response on poster paper, then post it up around the room.
3. Everyone walks the room reading and responding to every other group's posted work — sticky-note comments work well.
4. Bring it back together with a short whole-class discussion of what came up.
