One-Word Story

The group tells a story together, one single word each.

How to play

1. Going round the circle, each person adds exactly one word to a shared story.
2. No planning ahead and no whispering.
3. Someone has to say "the" or "and" occasionally. That is fine.
4. Have someone write it down and read the whole thing back at the end.

Variations

• Three words each moves faster and is easier for a nervous group.
• Give it a genre — ghost story, product launch, nature documentary.
