How to play

1. The first person opens with a plain sentence: "I went to the shop."
2. The next starts with "Unfortunately…" and makes it worse.
3. The next starts with "Fortunately…" and rescues it.
4. Alternate around the circle. Nobody blocks — you always build on what came before.
5. Stop when it reaches somewhere absurd, which will not take long.

Variations

• Set the opening line yourself to steer it somewhere useful — a project kickoff, a first day at work.
