How to play

1. The group has to count from one to twenty out loud.
2. Anyone can say the next number, but only one person at a time.
3. No agreeing an order, no pointing, no nodding.
4. If two people speak together, go back to one.
5. Let them fail a few times. The silence that develops is the whole point.

Variations

• Eyes closed makes it harder and quieter.
• Ten first, for a group that will get frustrated.
